The aviation heritage centre is also home to the country’s (and Europe's), only running Mosquito aircraft and a B25 Mitchell. The restored original Second World War watch towers form part of the museum which holds thousands of exhibits and photographs focusing on Bomber Command, including: a Barnes Wallis ‘Bouncing Bomb’, a home front exhibition, Blenheim, Hampden and Proctor aircraft restauration projects, and the Royal Air Force Escaping Society museum. At the entrance to the centre, a memorial stone commemorates No. 57 and 630 Squadrons.
Special events are scheduled throughout the summer and are further detailed on the website.
